Fans haven’t seen much of Brock Lesnar in 2020, as he last wrestled when he dropped the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 37 back in March.
The Beast has been absent since then, and PWInsider is reporting that his WWE contract has expired. The deal has expired without the two sides coming to an agreement regarding the terms of a new deal, vwhich makes Brock Lesnar a free agent.
WWE and Lesnar have been negotiating a new contract, but it’s being said that negotiations have been put on pause after they hit an impasse.
WrestleVotes also reports that the belief is once Brock Lesnar is ready to work again he will let Vince McMahon know. It’s also being said that if WWE needs Lesnar they will present him with an offer he can’t refuse.
The reports of Brock Lesnar being a free agent are true. In talking with a source, the belief is that once Lesnar is ready to work again, he’ll let McMahon know. Or vice versa, if WWE needs Brock, they will present a deal he can’t refuse. Currently, it’s nothing more than that.
