brock lesnar

Brock Lesnar last worked a WWE match when he dropped the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 36 back in March. It was recently reported that The Beast’s contract with WWE has expired, and that he’s now a free agent.

The former Universal Champion is free to go where he wants, and as soon as his contract expired people started talking about the possibility of Brock jumping to All Elite Wrestling.

AEW President Tony Khan recently participated in a media call to promote the All Out pay-per-view on Saturday, and during the call Wrestling Inc. asked Khan about Brock Lesnar’s free agent status.

Khan noted that he can’t comment on Brock’s situation at this time, but he did praise The Beast for his work in the ring.

“I can’t comment on that at this time, but I’ve enjoyed Brock’s work for many years. He’s a great fighter and a great wrestler. I don’t think people talk enough about how great of a worker Brock Lesnar is, and he’s one of the great working big men I’ve ever seen, one of the the great athletes in the wrestling business. I have so much respect for him, but I [can’t] comment on that.”

Despite Brock Lesnar’s free agent status it was recently reported that when Brock is ready to work again he will likely let Vince McMahon know, and that if WWE needs him Vince will make Lesnar an offer he can’t refuse.

Stay tuned for updates.
