Bray Wyatt officially made his return to WWE back in October of 2022, but he didn’t wrestle his first match on TV until the Royal Rumble last month when he defeated LA Knight in the first ever Mountain Dew Pitch Black match. The match was unique to say the least, and it sounds like Bray Wyatt had some input when it came to his gear.

After the match was officially over Bray Wyatt debuted a new mask before he and Uncle Howdy teamed up to take down LA Knight. Jason Baker of Callosum Studios recently spoke to Soundsphere about creating the mask and he explained how easy it is for him to collaborate with Bray Wyatt.

“There was none because Bray is a phenomenal artist and he does concept art for us and he’s like, ‘here, make this.’ ‘Sure thing, man’ We’ll throw ideas back and forth, but it’s always him. He’s always the mastermind that comes up with this stuff. ‘Cool, we can have it to you by next Saturday.’ Having someone that is very creative like him, he makes our job very easy.

I can’t tell you how many times we’ve worked on films or scripts or other things and they’re like, ‘make us something scary.’ What does that mean? What you might think of as scary, I might think of as hokey. You tell me what you need. Him knowing exactly what he wants to see, knowing his vision, knowing where he wants to take his character and everything just makes our life so much more convenient. I’m so grateful to work with someone who is such a visionary and has so many ideas.”

Bray Wyatt recently called out the winner of the Bobby Lashley vs. Brock Lesnar match at Elimination Chamber. Over the weekend Lashley won the match by disqualification, so we’ll have to wait and see if Wyatt addresses Lashley on SmackDown. Stay tuned for updates.
