Bray Wyatt was released from WWE back in July, and his 90 day non-compete clause recently expired. Now that the former Universal Champion is a free agent everyone is wondering where he might end up, but it doesn’t sound like fans should expect to see him on the independent circuit.

GCW owner Brett Lauderdale recently appeared on the Wrestling Inc. Daily, and he noted that while he hasn’t spoken with Bray Wyatt personally he has heard that Wyatt isn’t interested in working independent events.

“I have never talked to Bray Wyatt, but my understanding is that I don’t know that our world is very appealing to Bray Wyatt.”

“There’s no secret message there. I think that he’s not interested in making the rounds on the indies. That’s my understanding. I don’t mean any negative implication that he said anything because I’ve never spoken to him. From people I know, that he knows and whatever, it just doesn’t seem like it’s something that’s on his to-do list anytime soon.”

It’s been rumored that Impact Wrestling is interested in signing Bray Wyatt, and Tony Khan has also stated that he would be interested in speaking with Wyatt as well. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
