WrestleMania 40 night one aired live from Lincoln Financial Field on Saturday night and Rey Mysterio teamed with Andrade El Idolo to take on the team of Dominik Mysterio & Santos Escobar. Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson made a surprise appearance and helped Rey’s team during the match when they came out of the crowd wearing masks.
Fightful Select reports that Jason Kelce and members of his team reached out to Danny Cage and The Monster Factory for training heading into WrestleMania 40. Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson both trained for the appearance and it’s being said that they spent hours training in and out of the ring.
The word going around is that both Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson took to wrestling fast and were very respectful of everyone and the professional wrestling industry in general. Kelce and Johnson both reported showed interest in returning for more training in the future.
