Fans who were hoping to see Dean Ambrose at WrestleMania Axxess are going to be sorely disappointed, as WWE recently announced that he has been pulled from the Premium VIP Autograph Session on Sunday, April 8.
WWE Hall of Famers Sting and Ric Flair will be stepping up to fill in for Ambrose, and WWE confirmed the change with the following announcement:
“Unfortunately, Dean Ambrose will not be able to appear at the WrestleMania Axxess Premium VIP Autograph Session on Sunday, April 8, at 10 a.m. However, we are pleased to inform the WWE Universe that WWE Hall of Famers Sting and Ric Flair will appear at this Premium VIP Autograph Session. Your existing Dean Ambrose Premium VIP ticket will still grant you access to the Premium VIP Autograph Session on Sunday, April 8, at 10 a.m. with Sting and Flair.”
Ambrose has been out of action for months now after undergoing surgery to repair a triceps tendon injury. Originally it as reported that the former WWE Champion could be out of action for up to 9 months.
Former WCW World Champion Vader underwent open heart surgery on Tuesday, and his son took to Twitter to provide an update following the operation.
Vader’s son Jesse noted that the surgery was a success, but his father still has a long way to go when it comes to his recovery.
This is his son Jesse. I wanted to let everybody know that I just spoke to the Surgeon. The surgery was a success but it was worse than we had expected. Long road for recovery. Will keep you posted. Thank you for the prayers.
