Earlier this week Billy Corgan’s request for a temporary injunction against TNA was denied, meaning Corgan won’t be taking over the company anytime soon. Following the announcement, Maria Kanellis noted on Twitter that she will be leaving the wrestling business soon, and now another TNA talent has revealed that he’s hanging up the boots next year.

Davey Richards took to Twitter to say that 2017 will be his last year, and he encouraged anyone who wants to work with him to send him an e-mail. He also posted a few screenshots of a note he wrote as he reflected on his career.

Davey Richards has unfortunately been out of action for most of this year due to an injury.
Richards has seen a lot of success as one half of the popular tag team The Wolves. Together with Eddie Edwards he’s won the TNA World Tag Team Titles 5 times. He’s also a three time ROH Tag Team Champion, and a former Ring of Honor World Champion. During the course of his career, Davey Richards has also won many other titles while performing for various promotions around the world.
