IGN recently spoke to Daniel Bryan about his health and more. During the interview Bryan was asked if he would return to the indies if WWE won’t clear him for in ring competition. See what he had to say below.
“John Cena and I actually had this discussion. He said, ‘if something were to happen to you and the WWE, would you go back to doing the indies?’ Absolutely!”
Bryan also gave an update on his concussion issues and where things currently stand with his health. He mentioned that a doctor who worked the NFL’s Super Bowl cleared him with no limitations but that WWE’s doctors are still skeptical.
“One neurologist who specializes in concussions – who was the neurologist for the Super Bowl last year – cleared me with no limitations. All my testing came back excellent. But the WWE’s medical doctor is skeptical, because of my history of concussions and that sort of thing. So they will not clear me.”
