Brock Lesnar is the current WWE Universal Champion, and all signs point to Lesnar holding the title through WrestleMania 34. WWE officials are reportedly looking to set up a WrestleMania rematch between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns, and it’s believed that Roman will likely pull off a big win as WWE continues to try and get him over as the top face in the company.

It’s been reported that Brock Lesnar’s WWE contract is set to expire after WrestleMania 34, but according to UFC President Dana White, that’s not the case. White recently appeared on the Dan Le Batard Show, and he said that as far as he knows Lesnar will be under contract with WWE through August of 2018.

“Well Lesnar was still under contract to the WWE until next August. Who knows what would have happened. I don’t count my chickens any more, I’ll tell you that. They didn’t want to do that again. You saw what happened the last time he was under contract (and fought),” said White via Fightful.

Prior to the last contract Brock Lesnar signed with WWE, he teased that he was considering returning to UFC. Ultimately he ended up signing with WWE, and the company let him fight at UFC 200 where he defeated Mark Hunt.

However, it seems that it’s unlikely that Brock will end up fighting in UFC again while under WWE contract, as White noted WWE isn’t interested in doing that again because what happened after his last fight didn’t look good for anyone involved.
