The wrestling landscape has changed significantly over the last few years with the emergence of All Elite Wrestling, and fans have seen some big names such as CM Punk, Bryan Danielson and Adam Cole.
You never know who might be next to make the jump from WWE to AEW, and Kevin Owens recently got fans talking with a tweet that has since been deleted.
The former WWE Universal Champion tweeted the coordinates for Mount Rushmore in South Dakota, which has created speculation that he could be teasing a reunion with his former Mount Rushmore stablemates from his PWG days The Young Bucks and Adam Cole. Owens also changed the location on his Twitter bio to “Almost there.”
Back in 2018, Owens noted during an interview that he signed a five year deal with WWE, and he didn’t see himself going anywhere else.
“Hopefully I do not see why I would not finish my career with WWE,” Owens told wrestling historian Patric Laprade. “I just recently signed a new five-year contract with them. I do not intend to go anywhere.”
One way or another KO certainly got the attention of wrestling Twitter with his Mount Rushmore tweet, so it will be interesting to see what the future holds for Owens.
