Brock Lesnar has been one of the biggest stars in WWE for decades now and he’s currently set to face Omos at WrestleMania 39. Brock vs. Omos is shaping up to be a big match, but there were a number of other opponents who were rumored to face The Beast on the Grandest Stage of Them All.

In recent months there’s been a lot of talk about Brock Lesnar vs. Gunther, and the two stars briefly faced off in the 30 man Royal Rumble match in January. At this point it’s not clear if WWE has any plans for Brock to face Gunther in the future, but the current Intercontinental Champion made it clear during an appearance on The Ringer Wrestling Show that he’s ready if the opportunity presents itself.

“Brock is the one that has to happen at some point. I think I made him my personal biggest obstacle. The [Royal Rumble] was literally the first time I met him. [It was] brief, but that moment that we had in the Rumble was great because that was all I needed out of it. It was basically like a real-life confirmation that the audience is up for that. They want to see it.”

While Brock’s opponent for WrestleMania is set, Gunther’s opponent still has yet to be determined. Current plans call for Drew McIntyre, Sheamus, Kofi Kingston, LA Knight and Karrion Kross to face off in a fatal five way to determine who will challenge Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship on the Grandest Stage of Them All. Stay tuned for updates.
