When it comes to the main roster there are plenty of successful singles stars and there are also many wrestlers who have found strength in numbers. For the majority of his runs with WWE former Raw Tag Team Champion Karl Anderson has been working alongside Luke Gallows and The OC, but it seems that Anderson is interested in a singles run.

During a recent appearance on Out of Character with Ryan Satin, Karl Anderson questioned why he wasn’t in the Money in the Bank ladder match last month while emphasizing that he’s dying for a story that will lead to him working as a singles competitor.

“Yeah, I don’t know why I wasn’t in the Money in the Bank match. I’m down. Let’s get this rocking. AJ is the World Champion, Gallows can be the heater, and throw me in the ladder match. I’m dying for it. It’s just more about timing and waiting for the right story. I’m pushing for it. I hope for it.”

There’s currently no word on whether or not WWE is open to the idea of Karl Anderson having a singles run, but he did face off against Karrion Kross in a one on one match during the July 28 episode of SmackDown.
