Brock Lesnar is without a doubt one of the most intimidating athletes in the world of professional wrestling, and it’s fair to say that he doesn’t exactly come off as approachable.

On the latest episode of the After The Bell podcast with Corey Graves, Corey talked about an episode of Raw that got canceled in 2015 due to a state of emergency, and he also opened up about the first time he met Brock Lesnar.

The Friday Night SmackDown commentator noted that he wasn’t sure what to make of Brock Lesnar when they first met, so he decided to compliment him.

“That night stands out to me because it was the first time I encountered Brock Lesnar in person. I found myself in a conference room sitting beside him, and there was an awkward silence. Neither of us knew each other or what to make of one another other than the fact that I was as terrified of him in person as I had been for years on television.”

“So I did what any reasonable human would do in that situation: I complimented The Beast on his jacket which surprisingly led to a fun little exchange.”

Brock Lesnar is currently scheduled to defend his WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 36, and it was revealed this week on Raw that he will be defending his title against Ricochet at WWE Super ShowDown on 2/27.
