2019 has been a huge year for All Elite Wrestling. The company was officially announced back in January, and since then they’ve held several pay-per-view events, crowned the first ever AEW World Champion, and debuted their weekly TV series on TNT.
2020 is shaping up to be another big year for AEW, and a fan recently asked AEW Executive Vice President Cody Rhodes on Twitter about his biggest hopes and goals for AEW next year.
Cody noted that he has lots of hopes and goals, but his big one is to establish AEW’s four PPVs as destination events for fans.
Lots of hopes & goals.
Probably to establish the big 4 PPVs as real destination events for fans. https://t.co/P99mAVWA7p

Rhodes also confirmed that there aren’t currently any plans for AEW to tour through Germany or central Europe next year.
No current plans, but I love the idea of doing a tour around Europe and into the countries where AEW:Plus on @FiteTV penetrates. It’s a measured and steady pace we are moving at, but having wrestled in Germany myself, I’d love this crew to experience it. Vivid/fun fandom. https://t.co/Vxwg7xHaYr
