Cody Rhodes has been in the professional wrestling business for decades now and he’s faced some of the biggest names in the industry throughout his career. The American Nightmare has taken on all comers in recent years and he currently has a target on his back due to the fact that he’s the Undisputed WWE Champion.
While speaking with ESPN, Cody Rhodes was asked about his all time dream match, and he made it clear that he would like to face off against CM Punk
“All-time dream match, I think fans think might happen, but I think is very hard to put together – I will use myself in this example, but a dream match that I’d like to be part of is probably myself versus CM Punk.”
“The likelihood of it happening, who knows? Wrestling has gotten more, it’s difficult. We’re collaborators these days, so it’s difficult. I don’t know if he’d want that, and I don’t even know if I’d want it. But I know it would just be really great and be very good for wrestling.”
Rhodes successfully defended his Undisputed WWE Championship against Randy Orton in the night 1 main event of WrestleMania 42, and he came face to face with CM Punk on the following episode of Raw. A big title match between the two stars was teased, but when it might happen remains to be seen.
