Cody Rhodes had a big weekend as he competed in PWG’s Battle of Los Angeles. Cody was eliminated by Marty Scurll, but his wife Brandi made sure Cody had a memorable introduction before his first match against Sami Callihan.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that he spoke to Cody Rhodes over the weekend, and Cody will be wrestling for TNA in the future.
Cody’s deal will allow him to work for both TNA and ROH without being under contract to either company. The plan is for Cody Rhodes to feud with Mike Bennett, and it sounds like Cody’s wife Brandi, and Maria Kanellis may end up getting involved in the feud as well.
