CM Punk has been out of action since January, but the former WWE Champion has made several memorable appearances on WWE programming in recent months. Punk has been involved in a heated feud with Drew McIntyre and everyone has been waiting to see the two rivals face off inside the ring.

This week on Monday Night Raw, Punk made his way down to the ring, and the fans welcomed him as they chanted his name. CM Punk told everyone that he was cleared on Saturday then he called Drew McIntyre out to the ring for a fight.

Drew McIntyre made his way out to the top of the ramp and told CM Punk that nothing is going to stop him from getting in the ring and tearing him apart, except the fact that he doesn’t want to. McIntyre hesitated then Punk jumped out of the ring and tried to attack Drew as referees and WWE officials held Punk back.

The Scottish Warrior told Punk that their match is bigger than Green Bay. The fans booed. Drew pulled out the bracelet he stole from Punk as CM Punk got heated. Adam Pearce made his way out and said Drew is officially reinstated, and Punk is officially medically cleared. Pearce announced that CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre will take place at SummerSlam.

The Raw General Manager went on to say that if either one of them attacks the other before SummerSlam then the match is off. Pearce said he has a big problem, a big referee problem. Seth Rollins then made his way out and laughed in the face of Drew McIntyre.

Seth Rollins shook hands with Adam Pearce before getting in the ring. The Visionary said he’s not a problem guy, he’s a solution guy. Rollins then announced that at SummerSlam he will be the special guest referee for CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins.
