As we’ve noted before, WWE superstar Sheamus will be appearing in the next “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” film as he’s playing the character Rocksteady. CM Punk also auditioned for the role but ultimately lost out to Sheamus. Punk appeared at Jon Lester’s Hollywood Squares themed NVRQT Night at the Metro in Chicago last night when he was asked about missing out on the role. You can read what he had to say below.
“I just assumed he’s a bigger dude, so they gave it to the big guy. It makes sense. They were looking for two big, muscly bouncer types. Sheamus fits the role. I think they end up getting mutated half way through. You didn’t hear that from me though.”
