This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw featured two big Money in the Bank qualifying matches. Stephanie Vaquer managed to punch her ticket to Money in the Bank, and later in the night CM Punk, AJ Styles and El Grande Americano faced off in the main event.
Prior to the main event on Monday Night Raw this week CM Punk and AJ Styles last faced off inside the ring back in 2004. Following the match CM Punk took to Instagram to praise AJ Styles and also indicated that he’d like to face The Phenomenal One again when he posted the following:
“AJ Styles, I’ve got a lot on my plate right now but I’ll always make room for you.
“Thank you for the boot print on my nose. Let’s not wait 21 years for the next time. You’re a legend.”

Ultimately Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed ended up interfering in the match which led to El Grande Americano getting the win when he pinned AJ Styles. El Grande Americano will now go on to compete in the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match.
One way or another it seems that CM Punk’s feud with Seth Rollins is far from over as Rollins took Punk out with the stomp following the main event. Sami Zayn and Jey Uso tried to make the save, but they were overpowered by Rollins, Reed and Breakker.
