WWE Survivor Series aired live from the Allstate Arena on Saturday night and the show featured two War Games matches. Ahead of the show it was announced that Randy Orton would be teaming up with Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn, Seth Rollins and Jey Uso to face The Judgment Day & Drew McIntyre.

Throughout the show it was teased that Randy Orton might not show up as it was claimed that he wasn’t at the arena yet. However, Cody Rhodes assured his team that Randy Orton would show up as they were getting ready for the main event.

Finn Balor and Seth Rollins kicked off the match, but by the time it started the fifth member of Seth’s team had not yet arrived. Cody Rhodes was the last member of his team to enter the match and after he got in the ring Seth Rollins continued to ask him whether or not Randy was still coming.

Dominik Mysterio was the last person to enter War Games on The Judgment Day side and the babyface team immediately targeted him. The Judgment Day got the upper hand as McIntyre and Priest hit a triple chokeslam then JD McDonagh and Dominik followed up by going to the top rope. Priest put Seth Rollins through a table with the Razor’s Edge as the clock counted down the last 10 seconds for the fifth member of the babyface team.

Rhea Ripley came out with the Money in the Bank briefcase. She went to cash in the Money in the Bank contract on behalf of Damian Priest, but Randy Orton’s music hit. Orton entered the ring and immediately took out Balor, McDonagh and Mysterio.

At one point everyone from the babyface team paid homage to Randy by setting up a member of The Judgment Day on the ropes for his patented DDT. Orton teased a RKO on Jey Uso. As Damian Priest tried to attack Orton from behind Jey saved Orton by hitting a superkick on Priest then Orton delivered the RKO to Dominik Mysterio.

JD McDonagh climbed to the top of the cage and Sami Zayn and Seth Rollins followed. Rollins and Zayn threw JD McDonagh off the cage and Orton hit McDonagh with the RKO as he was landing. Cody Rhodes then hit the Cross Rhodes on Damian Priest to win the match. After the match Randy shook Cody’s hand and gave props to Jey Uso. The babyface team then welcomed Orton back as they all celebrated together.

It looked like the show was going to go off the air then out of nowhere CM Punk’s music hit as the Chicago fans went crazy. Punk entered the Allstate Arena to a huge reaction then stood at the entrance area and yelled “it’s clobberin’ time!”

Punk then celebrated with the fans for a minute as the show went off the air. Stay tuned for more updates on CM Punk’s return as they become available.
