Last year CM Punk shocked the world when he made his return to WWE at the Survivor Series premium live event. Punk signed a new contract with World Wrestling Entertainment last year, but it looks like he could already be looking to restructure his deal.

Recently Ibou of WrestlePurists discussed CM Punk’s contract status with WWE and it was noted that Punk is reportedly looking to restructure his deal so that he be a part of the company for years to come.

“I believe it’s three. I can tell you right now that he is in the process of trying to get his deal restructured from a money and years standpoint. Punk’s legitimate stance right now is if all goes well I will never leave. That’s his legitimate standpoint.

He wants to be here forever is the actual word he used. Basically, he wants this to work out, he wants to get paid, and then he wants, when it’s time to slow it down, to slow it down and just run NXT.”

CM Punk has been out of action since January, but it was confirmed this week on Raw that CM Punk will return to the ring at SummerSlam. Punk will be facing off against Drew McIntyre and it’s been confirmed that Seth Rollins will be the special guest referee for the match.

Stay tuned for updates.
