cm punk

CM Punk hasn’t appeared on AEW programming in months and there’s been a lot of talk about Punk’s future in the professional wrestling business. During the All Out post-show press conference Punk took shots at The Elite, Colt Cabana, Adam Page and MJF, and it was later reported that he was involved in a physical altercation with The Elite after the show.

The two time AEW World Champion recently got fans talking when he posted a video in his Instagram stories which features a man talking about forgiving people while keeping your distance from them.

In the video, which can be seen below, the man says, “I’ve forgiven a lot of people. I love ’em from a distance because it’s safe for me to love ’em from a distance. Forgive you doesn’t mean you get to sit in the chair with me. You did me wrong, man. You did some foul stuff man. You played me dirty, man. You left me hanging now, I forgive you. But that doesn’t mean you can hang out with me. So please stop forgiving people and letting ’em back in your circle to hurt you again. I forgive you, but you can’t hurt me no more.”

Following the All Out pay-per-view it was reported that AEW was in talks to buy out CM Punk’s contract, but neither side confirmed that was the case. Punk suffered an injury during the All Out main event and while his future with the company remains unknown it was recently reported that he will be available to be used in a couple of months. Stay tuned for more updates on Punk’s status as they become available.
