When CM Punk parted ways with WWE in 2014, Roman Reigns was still on his way up, but over the last ten years Roman has become the top star in the company. Roman Reigns recently appeared on the Pat McAfee Show, and The Tribal Chief got fans talking when he took a shot at CM Punk.
CM Punk addressed his relationship with Roman Reigns while talking with Ariel Helwani on the MMA Hour while saying that he’s in WWE to business and make money, but open to making friends along the way.
“It’s all business, baby. I’m not here to make friends. I have some friends from my prior ten years. If I make friends along the way, that’s sprinkles on top of the cupcake.
I’m here to do business and make money. The ironic thing about that. You wind up becoming friends with the people you make money with.”
