The coronavirus was recently declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization, and events are all around the world are being canceled due to the virus.
Multiple coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Tampa, FL ahead of WrestleMania 36, but it looks like the show will go on as scheduled.
The city of Tampa issued a statement today confirming that WrestleMania is still set to proceed, and the statement reads as follows:
“Hello, at this time @WrestleMania is still planned to proceed on schedule. Please contact the @WWE with questions about cancellations. The City is currently monitoring the spread of coronavirus and will work with venues as needed.”
WrestleMania 36 will air live on the WWE Network on Sunday, April 5.
