Last month Sasha Banks defeated Charlotte on Raw to become the new WWE Women’s Champion.
Sasha put the title on the line when she faced off against Charlotte in a rematch at SummerSlam, and it was Charlotte who walked out with the gold.
At one point during the match Charlotte went for the Razor’s Edge from the middle rope and Sasha Banks reversed it into a hurricanrana, and the crowd popped big time. The end came when Sasha Banks went for a tilt-a-whirl, then she turned it into the Banks Statement. Charlotte countered the move by reversing it into a pin to win the match.
This is Charlotte’s second run with the WWE Women’s Championship.
