The Royal Rumble is without a doubt one of WWE’s most anticipated shows of the year, and the hype levels reached an all time high heading into the Royal Rumble this year. Over 65,000 fans filled Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday night and the show kicked off in a big way.
Stephanie McMahon kicked off the Royal Rumble premium live event and she thanked the fans for making the show the biggest Royal Rumble in history. She then welcomed fans to the Royal Rumble as pyro went off.
Iyo Sky entered the match at number one followed by Liv Morgan who entered at number two. The match featured a number of surprise entrants such as Stephanie Vaquer, Alexa Bliss, and Trish Stratus to name a few.
Charlotte Flair finally made her return when she entered the match at number twenty seven. The Queen wasted no time getting in on the action as she quickly eliminated Michin then hit Stephanie Vaquer and Jordynne Grace with a double DDT. Flair then eliminated Piper Niven.
Liv Morgan set the record for longest amount of time in the women’s Royal Rumble before she was eliminated near the end of the match. The final six came down to Nikki Bella, Charlotte Flair, Giulia, Roxanne Perez, Nia Jax and Bayley.
Giulia was eliminated followed by Bayley. Nikki was eliminated immediately after. It came down to Charlotte, Roxanne and Nia Jax. Charlotte Flair eliminated Nia Jax then Roxanne Perez to win the 2025 Royal Rumble and punch her ticket to WrestleMania. After the match Charlotte celebrated and pointed at the WrestleMania sign as pyro went off.
