Charlotte Flair recently lost her SmackDown Women’s Championship to Carmella when Mella cashed in the Money in the Bank briefcase, and she failed to win the title back when she challenged Carmella at Backlash.
Flair qualified for the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match this week on SmackDown Live, but now it appears that she will be undergoing surgery.
PWInsider is reporting that the former Women’s Champion is set to undergo surgery to repair a ruptured implant, and one source indicated that she will undergo surgery after WWE’s European tour.
Reader Chris Ruggles noted that earlier today ACE Comic Con announced that Charlotte was pulled from her scheduled appearance in Seattle on June 22nd, and she’s been replaced by Carmella.
