Monday night on Raw, Charlotte faced off against Nia Jax and Nia Jax pulled off a big victory. Nia Jax also unfortunately dropped Charlotte on her head when she went for a shoulder-breaker and she botched the landing.
Although the botch looked pretty brutal on television, Charlotte seems to be just fine and she told USA Today that it’s going to take a lot more than that to keep her down.
“It didn’t really affect me … That’s up to the viewer on how they viewed it that it looked nasty. It’s going to take a lot more than dropping me on my head to keep me down.”
Charlotte’s match with Nia Jax will be her last match on Monday Night Raw for a while, as she was drafted to SmackDown Live Tuesday night in the WWE Superstar Shake-up.
The former Raw star didn’t wrestle a match on Tuesday night, but she did note that she didn’t feel sore after her match with Jax, and she doesn’t plan on missing any time in the ring.
“No. Knock on wood, I haven’t missed a live event, I haven’t been injured. I know my body and I’m think I’m extremely well-trained. I looked at it as, ‘Hey, bring it. I’ll see you next time, woman.'”
