A few months ago WWE announced the first ever women’s Money in the Bank ladder match, and Carmella became the first ever Miss Money in the Bank thanks to a little help from James Ellsworth. Carmella had to put her briefcase on the line in another Money in the Bank ladder match due to Ellsworth’s interference, but once again she secured a title shot.
Now that she’s Miss Money in the Bank, Carmella has to take the briefcase with her when she travels, and she recently told The Sun that she gets some interesting reactions.
“I have to carry it everywhere I go. When we fly I only get to have one carry on and one personal item. Sometimes I just have one little bag and my briefcase. A few weeks ago I was at baggage claim and a man asked me if I was in the banking business. I was like ‘Really? You think I’m going I’m going to be carrying around a briefcase with money in the bank written on it with money in it?’”
Carmella has teased a possible cash in before, but it hasn’t happened yet. According to The Princess of Staten Island Natalya won’t see it coming when she does cash in.
“I won BOTH the Money in the Bank ladder matches, and that was so insane for me and surreal, but unfortunately I’m not revealing any of my plans. I don’t want Natalya to catch onto anything.”
