Everybody knows Paul Heyman as Brock Lesnar’s screaming advocate as he expertly dances with his words to create a seamless display of shoot and puffery. But most fans might not realize what Heyman is like behind closed doors.

On a recent episode of Something to Wrestle with Bruce Prichard, Bruce and Conrad Thompson had one of their best shows in the year-long run of the podcast. They dove into the subject of all things Paul Heyman for over three hours and it is worth every second of it. But to get things started, Conrad asked Bruce just to describe Heyman to someone who didn’t know him and Prichard’s reply was priceless.
“How would I describe Paul Heyman?” Bruce asked himself as he geared up for one of the best descriptions of a human being ever. “I think that to an outsider, imagine if — I’ll describe it like this: Paul Heyman walking into a room. Imagine you’re at your nine to five job and all of a sudden a character from the Game Of Thrones just dropped into your work place and just started plotting and started spouting out conspiracy theories and getting everyone in a corner — that is the best way to pretty much describe Paul Heyman.”
“A friend of mine who worked with Paul for many years as well kinda likened him to for fans of the show Game Of Thrones — to Littlefinger. And for those of you who don’t know who Littlefinger is on Game Of Thrones, Littlefinger is the guy who kinda manipulates in everything and has done everything from running a brothel to selling the king’s daughter as a sex slave to another king.”
Paul Heyman might be called a lot of things, but Littlefinger might be the best so far. Therefore fans can anticipate a storyline where Heyman steals Stephanie McMahon and sells her to Jeff Jarrett. That should be fun to watch!
