Everybody knows that the Royal Rumble is one of the biggest shows of the year as it kicks off the road to WrestleMania. This year the 30 man Royal Rumble match was loaded with big names such as Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, Randy Orton and more.

Brock Lesnar is always a force to be reckoned with when he enters a Royal Rumble match, and this year he was eliminated by Cody Rhodes and LA Knight who clotheslined him over the top rope.

During a recent appearance on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, LA Knight was asked about Brock Lesnar’s elimination, and The Megastar claimed that it did not go as planned.

“I did. I’ll tell that story someday, but it feels too new and fresh to me. But I’ll just say things went differently than they were supposed to.”

It’s not exactly clear what LA Knight meant when he said that it didn’t go as planned, but as seen in the clip below Brock Lesnar instructed Cody Rhodes and Knight to eliminate him as Jey Uso’s entrance music was playing.

While Brock Lesnar didn’t win the Royal Rumble he did compete in one of the biggest matches at WrestleMania as he faced off against Oba Femi in the opening match of night 2. Lesnar was defeated by Femi then seemingly retired. However, he returned to Raw a few weeks ago and ultimately picked up a win over Femi at Clash in Italy.

It’s not clear what’s next for Brock Lesnar, but he is expected to make another appearance for WWE at some point in the future.
