Monday night on Raw, Stephanie McMahon told Braun Strowman that he would get a title shot at the Royal Rumble if he could pick up a win over Baron Corbin at TLC.

It was then announced that Baron Corbin and Braun Strowman would face off in a tables, ladders and chairs match next month, but it looks like Braun might not make it to TLC.

Later in the show, Braun Strowman was destroyed by Baron Corbin, Drew McIntyre & Bobby Lashley, and Michael Cole announced during Raw that Strowman’s elbow had been shattered.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Braun Strowman is set to undergo surgery because he’s dealing with bone spurs in his elbow, which is why the angle was done on Raw.

Meltzer noted that it’s not a big deal, but it’s “touch and go” in regards to his TLC match with Baron Corbin next month.

The belief is that Strowman will be good to go for a match against Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble in January.

If Strowman is indeed set to undergo surgery soon, then it will be interesting to see how the gap is filled on Raw, as the Monster Among Men has had to step up and take the top face spot recently with Roman Reigns out of action.
