Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns have been in a heated rivalry for months now, and their rivalry has been an all out war. They’ve tried their best to completely destroy one another, and it looks like the war is far from over.
Both men have found a way to keep their feud fresh despite the fact that they’ve been feuding for most of 2017, and after working together for so long now, they know each other well. On TV Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns have basically both tried to end each other’s careers, but it sounds like their relationship behind the scenes is the complete opposite of what fans see on Raw.
Braun Strowman recently appeared on the In This Corner podcast, and he had nothing but praise for The Big Dog. The Monster Among Men even went as far as to say that Roman Reigns is, “one of the best performers in the world.”
“Roman Reigns is, if not the best, one of the best performers in the world, hands down,” Strowman said. “I don’t care what anybody says. He does it night after night, and it doesn’t matter who he’s with, they tear the place down. Lately, it has been me and him blowing the roof off the arena on every place we walk into on God’s green earth.”
Since getting pushed to the main event a few years ago, Roman Reigns has received his fair share of backlash from the fans, and more often than not he gets booed by the live audience on Raw.
If Vince McMahon had his way, fans would be cheering Roman Reigns and booing Braun Strowman, but it seems that Strowman is the one who gets cheered more often than not.
While talking about who is supposed to be the heel in their rivalry, Braun Strowman noted that he thinks the days of faces and heels are coming to an end.
“That has been brought up before, and I feel like the days of faces and heels are coming to an end,” Strowman said. “We are two superstars. We are just megastars going out there and doing what we do which is entertaining. It doesn’t matter who you love or who you want to cheer for; at the end of the match, you are on your feet, you are going crazy, you have lost your voice, and we did our job.”
You can see Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns collide once again when they challenge for the Universal Championship at SummerSlam on August 20 in a fatal four-way match that will also include Brock Lesnar and Samoa Joe.
So there you have it Smarks…now shut the kcuf up.
