After CM Punk left WWE, he announced later that year that he had signed a UFC contract, and in 2016 he finally made his debut.

Punk was defeated by Mickey Gall in 2 minutes and 45 seconds during his debut fight, and he recently returned to the octagon for a shot at redemption when he faced Mike Jackson at UFC 225.

The former WWE Champion managed to last three rounds, but Mike Jackson won the bout by unanimous decision.

It’s not all that often that you hear CM Punk’s name on WWE programming nowadays, but during the kickoff show Booker T mentioned Punk when he said, “we saw CM Punk trying to run it in UFC, trying to take it over. That boy got the breaks beat off of him.”

Dana White has said that CM Punk won’t be fighting in the UFC again, and at this point it’s unknown what Punk’s next move will be, but he has declared that he is done with wrestling.
