Elias made his way to the ring on the Raw after WrestleMania, and he talked about how he didn’t get to give the performance he wanted to give at WrestleMania 34.
He did his usual thing, and started talking trash about New Orleans as he played guitar. Elias called them scumbags, and the crowd chanted “we are scumbags” but then Elias was interrupted by Bobby Lashley.
The crowd went wild and chanted “welcome back” after Lashley got in the ring and confronted Elias. The Drifter attacked Lashley, but Lashley reversed it and hit him with a neckbreaker.
Lashley picked Elias up for a suplex and held him up with one arm then dropped him as the crowd cheered.
Former ECW World Champion parted ways with Impact back in January, and his WWE return has been expected for some time. It’s been rumored that Bobby Lashley could end up feuding with Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship.
