Becky Lynch is the wrestler that everyone is talking about at the moment. Becky managed to build up a lot of hype for her match against Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series, but she was unfortunately pulled from the match earlier this week after it was discovered that she suffered an injury during the multi-woman brawl on Raw.
Tuesday night on SmackDown Live, Becky confirmed her status and she picked Charlotte Flair to be her replacement on Sunday.
Even though Becky Lynch was pulled from her big match against Ronda Rousey, it looks like the timing could be a blessing in disguise, as the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that she’s now set to face Rousey at WrestleMania.
The report notes that after Becky Lynch was pulled from Survivor Series, Vince McMahon and Ronda Rousey decided that the best course of action would be to save Rousey vs. Lynch for WrestleMania.
Rousey and Lynch are still taking shots at each other on social media.
Becky Lynch still likely would have been in a key position at WrestleMania, but it’s being said that a match against Ronda Rousey on the Grandest Stage of Them All wouldn’t have happened had she not suffered an injury and been pulled from Survivor Series.
