Edge shocked fans a few months ago when he got physical with Elias at SummerSlam, and naturally following the pay-per-view talk of the WWE Hall of Famer possibly returning to the ring intensified.
PWInsider is reporting that Edge signed a new deal with WWE that has a pretty nice upside, and that a few months ago he was in Pittsburgh for WWE business. Pittsburgh is where WWE Wellness Policy head Dr. Joseph Maroon is headquartered.
A few months ago Edge denied rumors of a possible return on social media, but it’s being reported that the talk internally is that Edge is on his way back to the ring.
It’s not clear if WWE has set plans for Edge in regards to a possible return, but there’s speculation that he could appear at the Royal Rumble and be part of WrestleMania season.
