For months now a mysterious devil figure has been taunting MJF. Last week the devil challenged MJF to put his ROH Tag Team Titles on the line during Dynamite this week, and Samoa Joe offered to step up and be his partner.

The ROH Tag Team Title match took place during the main event segment on Dynamite, but Joe didn’t end up competing. After MJF made his entrance the cameras showed Joe backstage selling a knee injury which seemed to indicate he had been attacked by the devil’s henchmen. MJF proceeded to defend the titles on his own without Samoa Joe’s help.

At one point MJF had one of the masked men on the outside of the ring and he tried to take his mask off. As MJF was attempting to remove the mask another masked man appeared from underneath the ring then hit MJF with a steel pipe before rolling back under the ring.

The other masked man then hit MJF with the heatseeker piledriver to win the match and the ROH Tag Team Titles. After the match two more masked men appeared and all four of the devil’s henchmen beat MJF down.

Samoa Joe then made his way down to the ring with a steel chair and the masked men ran away. The devil appeared on the screen along with the words “Pleasure doing business with you.” Joe then destroyed MJF with a steel chair as the commentators implied he had been working with the devil the whole time. Samoa Joe then held the AEW World Championship above his head as Dynamite went off the air.
