A few months ago fans saw a big change on the debut episode of AEW Collision when Luchasaurus defeated Wardlow to become the new TNT Champion. Even though Luchasaurus won the title it’s been Christian Cage who has been proudly carrying the belt for months now.
This week on AEW Collision, Luchasaurus put the TNT Championship on the line against Christian Cage and Darby Allin in a triple threat match. Even though it was billed as a triple threat match Luchasaurus and Christian Cage still worked together as they teamed up to take down Darby Allin.
At one point during the match the TNT Championship was in the ring and Luchasaurus grabbed the belt while the commentators noted that it was the first time he’s held the title since winning it.
Christian asked Luchasaurus to hand it over as the fans chanted “that’s your belt.” Cage got heated then Luchasaurus handed it to him and Darby Allin hit Christian from behind then followed up by hitting Luchasaurus with the belt. Darby Allin followed up with a Coffin Drop on Luchasaurus, but as he went for the pin Christian Cage threw him off and pinned Luchasaurus himself to officially win the TNT Championship.
After the match Christian Cage celebrated with the title then hugged Luchasaurus while Darby recovered outside the ring.
