The Big Show is a former WWE World Heavyweight Champion, and he’s without a doubt a future WWE Hall of Famer. Show is one of the most successful big men of all time, but sooner or later his in-ring career will be coming to an end.
The former champion has said that his time in the ring is limited, but he still has a lot to offer the wrestling business. Big Show recently spoke to Sports Illustrated about what could be next for his career, and he said that he’s already discussed the idea of making the move to commentary.
“That’s definitely a possibility,” said Big Show. “That’s something I’ve discussed quite heavily with Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler, and JBL. I need to sit down with Vince and Hunter to see what’s next for the Big Show.”
Several former wrestlers such as Gorilla Monsoon, Jerry Lawler, Booker T, JBL and others have successfully made the jump to commentary, and Show thinks that his experience in the ring could come in handy.
“Vince is all about giving opportunity, and Hunter is, too,” said Big Show. “Doing color commentary to help get the talent over is not something I’m opposed to doing. I could speak from my experience, but my number one goal would be to highlight why you should pay attention to what you are seeing in the ring.”
