big show

It’s no big secret that there are quite a few wrestling fans out there who don’t like Roman Reigns. He’s been getting mixed reactions in major cities for years now and although he may have his haters in the stands, he’s got a fan in the Big Show.

Big Show recently spoke to Forbes about his thoughts on Conor McGregor, his ill-fated match with Shaq and the current WWE roster. Show has faced Roman Reigns quite a few times and during the interview he made it a point to praise the three time WWE Champion.

“People don’t understand how good Roman is,” Show said. “He’s easy to pick on because he’s good looking and he’s athletic in our society especially with social media. Roman is great to work with, especially if you’re a big guy. If you’re a big guy and a bad guy, and you’re working with Roman Reigns, it’s really easy. Our audience has a way of being misinformed from the wrong people. The internet is filled with so-called experts who couldn’t lace up a pair of boots. He’s getting a lot of grief for stuff that isn’t his fault. It’s the in-thing to boo Roman Reigns. In time, thru Roman’s work ethic, he’ll be able to change a lot of those opinions.”

Big Show indicated once again that the status of his WrestleMania match with Shaq is up in the air and he was asked about Conor McGregor as a possible replacement. Although Shaq has stepped into the ring with Floyd Mayweather before, he wasn’t shy about saying that he has no interest in working with McGregor.

“Hell No. Who’s Conor McGregor gonna fight? I’ve dated women bigger than him. What does he weight 135, 145? He reminds me of that little dog that runs around yapping all the time with a cigar in his mouth. He’s a little dog that barks. He’s an amazing athlete in his weight class, but he starts talking trash to me, Big E Langston, Braun Strowman would floss his teeth with Conor McGregor. I love Conor, I love how he runs his yap, but that’s like me saying I’m going to dunk on Shaq. That’s completely insane. I’ve got a two-inch vertical, you know that.”

It’s been an interesting week in the world of professional wrestling. The Broken Hardys, Drew Galloway and more parted ways with Impact Wrestling, Randy Orton finally turned on Bray Wyatt and the stars of Raw are getting ready for Fastlane. We’re running down all the big events and we’re also talking Fastlane predictions on this week’s episode of Still Real Radio. Check it out below and be sure to subscribe to the show on iTunes.
