We’re only a few weeks away from the Royal Rumble premium live event which means that WrestleMania season will be kicking off soon. During WrestleMania season names from the past and celebrities often get involved with WWE and it sounds like the company originally had plans to bring Tyson Fury back.

The US Sun claims that WWE had been planning for Tyson Fury to make an appearance at the Royal Rumble in San Antonio next month. The idea was for Fury to follow up with a match at WrestleMania 39 in April.

However, Tyson Fury is currently banned from entering the United States now that links to alleged Irish mob boss Daniel Kinahan have emerged. Tyson Fury’s brother Tommy has also confirmed that they are being denied entry into the United States. Stephanie McMahon and Triple H are said to be big fans of Tyson Fury, and an insider noted that WWE’s legal team is trying to offer assistance when it comes to Fury’s working visa.

“Tyson and the legal team or getting this whole grey and tricky area resolved. But non-entry, quite simply put, means non-payment. And people may not believe this but turning up for a match or being part of the shows, not even fighting, earns him several million dollars. So this issue with his working visa in the States is costing him a large amount of cash.

“The WWE works with foreign athletes all the time in aiding their visa processing for appearances. The legal team are on the sidelines offering support in this matter, but ultimately getting approval is on Tyson’s head and how US immigration assesses his case.”

It was also noted that although Tyson Fury is currently banned from entering the United States he could continue to work with WWE at premium live events outside the US such as the events in Saudi Arabia. Stay tuned for updates.
