Some big moves have been made in recent weeks thanks to the transfer window as a number of WWE stars have switched brands. It’s been rumored that Drew McIntyre could be heading to SmackDown, and now it’s official.
Ahead of SmackDown tonight Nick Aldis announced that Drew McIntyre has signed with the blue brand. Drew shook Nick’s hand then said that even though he’s a gigantic Superstar he doesn’t need a big celebration, all he needs it an opportunity. Aldis insisted that he’s just going to let Drew be Drew, and allow him to run wild.

Aldis then followed up by announcing that Drew McIntyre vs. LA Knight vs. Jimmy Uso will take place on SmackDown and the winner will advance to the men’s Elimination Chamber match.
Two more Elimination Chamber qualifying matches were also confirmed for the show as it’s been revealed that Alexa Bliss vs. Candace LeRae and Bianca Belair vs. Piper Niven will take place on SmackDown tonight.

– Bianca Belair and Piper Niven battle in an Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match
