great balls of fire

WWE Great Balls Of Fire has a main event already and it’s a big one. The dream match between Samoa Joe and Brock Lesnar is finally going to happen. The build up for this encounter has been very well done too.

Samoa Joe has been able to keep some major heat coming his way. The visual of Joe kicking Brock Lesnar in the face while The Beast Incarnate and half of the Raw locker room fell to the ground was a beastly moment.

As the event comes closer other matches look like they’re materializing and some of them appear to be big ones. The Observer notes there are a few matches that will certainly give fans a big reason to tune in.

The Miz and Dean Ambrose have been at each other’s throats recently. Dean has been playing some Bugs Bunny-like mind games with The It Couple and it appears he’s not done yet. It is expected that Miz will defend his IC Title against The Lunatic Fringe at the Great Balls Of Fire show. Elias Samson is also around to add the possibility of a triple threat match of some kind.

Seth Rollins is expected to finally get his hands on Bray Wyatt at the Great Balls Of Fire show. Bray has been cutting promos on The Kingslayer recently and it looks like this feud is going to come to a confrontation in Texas.

It is reported fans should also expect to see some kind of gimmick match for the Raw Tag Team Championships. The Hardy Boyz will probably get another crack at Sheamus and Cesasro at the Great Balls Of Fire PPV.

Enzo and Big Cass will most likely be squaring off against The Revival. It’s been hinted at for the past few weeks that Dash and Dawson were the ones to blame for the recent backstage attacks on Enzo and Big Cass and it appears those assumptions might have been correct. It will just be good to see The Revival back in the ring. This might also be way to drive a bigger wedge between Enzo and Big Cass if they can’t come down with the retaliation win.

If Braun Strowman can get cleared for an in-ring return in time he is scheduled to confront Roman Reigns once again. An ambulance match of some kind was initially scheduled for these two before Strowman went out due to an elbow deal that required surgery. It might not be relevant to do an ambulance match at this point, but just the fact that The Monster Among Men is coming back will be good enough for us.

It is interesting to note that Finn Balor isn’t being teased for a match at Great Balls Of Fire, so we’ll just have to see if WWE can find a spot for him in the July PPV.
