Jeff Hardy’s veteran skills have been absent from WWE programming since he was taken out of action due to a shoulder injury. The youngest Hardy brother was actually wrestling on his busted shoulder for around two months before requiring surgery which only shows how incredibly tough he is.
It’s never fun to go out of action and be forced into a recuperation state because it certainly has to halt anyone’s momentum. But Jeff Hardy has kept busy with his music and art. Hardy also made recent headlines when he was picked up and charged with a DWI for blowing 2 1/2 times the legal limit which is never good news.
PW Insider reports Jeff is set to deal with his DWI matter in court on April 16th but there is also very good news to report as well. They also said their sources have confirmed Jeff Hardy was spotted at the WWE Performance Center where he is working in the ring.
Getting the ring rust off is certainly a priority before he gets in front of the WWE Universe once again. But they were probably wanting to make sure he’s okay to compete. Therefore it looks like the final pieces for Jeff Hardy’s WWE return might be coming together and it really is perfect timing as well.
Jeff Hardy actually filmed a cameo for the Ultimate Deletion match which is set to air on Raw this week. Dave Meltzer noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that if you don’t see Jeff Hardy during the big Bray Wyatt vs Matt Hardy brawl at the Hardy Compound then that simply means WWE edited him out.
There was speculation that WWE might require the Charismatic Egnima to attend rehab before his WWE return can take place. But hopefully, that isn’t the case meaning a WWE return is imminent.
Meltzer noted the Ultimate Deletion Match is set to be Jeff’s return to television if they don’t edit him out as well. So it might be a good idea to keep your eyes peeled for Brother Nero. Because from the sounds of it he’s on his way back very soon.
