The tag team division in All Elite Wrestling has been heating up, and fans saw Jurassic Express drop the belts to The Young Bucks back in June, and after the match Christian Cage turned on Jungle Boy.
In recent weeks Christian Cage has been cutting brutal heel promos on Dynamite while ripping on Jungle Boy. It seemed that Christian had formed an alliance with Luchasaurus following the split from Jungle Boy, but that alliance fell apart on Wednesday night.
Luchasaurus and Christian faced off against The Varsity Blondes in a tag team match, and the end of the match came when Christian ordered Luchsaurus to chokeslam both members of the opposing team into one another. Christian then tagged in and got the pin to pick up the win for his team.
After the match Jungle Boy’s music hit and he came down to the ramp with a chair. Luchasaurus confronted Jungle Boy at the ringside area, and when they came face to face he stepped out of the way to Jungle Boy to a big pop from the crowd. Jungle Boy then chased Christian through the crowd to end the segment.
