Becky Lynch has been one of WWE’s top stars for years now which means she’s consistently featured in some of the most prominent storylines on WWE programming.
Following her massive main event win at WrestleMania 35, Becky Lynch was paired up with her real life partner Seth Rollins on TV, and the power couple went on to feud with Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans.
During a recent appearance on the SI Media Podcast Becky Lynch revealed that she was worried she would be presented as just Seth Rollins’ girlfriend on TV, but Vince McMahon assured her that wouldn’t be the case.
“When Colby and I were together on-screen, which was very well received… and beforehand, I said to myself, “I’m worried that I’m just gonna be Seth Rollins’ girlfriend,” “Seth is Becky’s boyfriend!” so that’s the first thing that came to the top of my head.”
Both Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch have expressed disdain for the onscreen pairing in the past, as well as a lack of interest in teaming together again. However, it seems that Becky has become more open to the idea as she stated recently during an interview with WrestlingAC.com that she would team up with Rollins to face Edge and Beth Phoenix.
“I mean, I am down for it but I don’t fancy their chances if they want to come at us. I think I’ll beat her. If ever she wants to come back, I’ll beat her.”
