Times are certainly changing for WWE as it was recently reported that Kevin Dunn is retiring after several decades of working behind the scenes for the company. It’s truly the end of an era on the production side of things and Dunn’s retirement has led to a lot of questions regarding who his replacement will be.

PWInsider reports that during the talent meeting ahead of Day 1 Raw this week WWE President Nick Khan praised Kevin Dunn while noting that he led with “strength” which is something the company will continue to do. Dunn was praised on his way out and treated with reverence for being someone who helped build up WWE alongside Vince McMahon.

One name going around internally as a potential replacement for Kevin Dunn is Chris Kaiser who is currently in the role of WWE’s Executive Vice President of Television. Kaiser has been a big figure behind the scenes in WWE for over a decade and was heavily involved with the production side of things. One person described the situation as Kevin Dunn having the “rubber stamp” on final decisions, but it’s being said that Chris Kaiser was the one in the trenches.

Stay tuned for more updates on Kevin Dunn’s replacement as they become available.
