The 2023 WWE Draft kicked off last week on Friday Night SmackDown and the big event continued on Monday Night Raw. WWE has once again shaken things up with the main roster and some big names were moved while some NXT stars were called up.

Dave Meltzer recently claimed on Wrestling Observer Radio that things are chaotic backstage in WWE. However, the WRKD Wrestling account disputed this reported and noted that people backstage are said to be happy with how things played out with the WWE Draft.

“However, we’ve instead heard many backstage are very happy with the way the rosters shook out, with most wrestlers looking forward to the plans for the World Heavyweight championship and SummerSlam.”

Last week Triple H unveiled the new WWE World Heavyweight Championship and announced that the first champion will be crowned at Night of Champions on May 27. Now that it’s been confirmed Roman Reigns will remain on SmackDown the new title belt will be exclusive to Monday Night Raw.

WWE has yet to reveal who will end up competing for the new WWE World Heavyweight Championship, so we’ll have to wait and see how things play out on the road to Night of Champions later this month. Stay tuned for updates.
