AEW made history with All In at Wembley Stadium on Sunday and CM Punk kicked off the show when he defended his Real AEW World Championship against Samoa Joe. Prior to the match CM Punk was involved in a backstage altercation with Jack Perry, and even though All In was a big success the altercation seems to be getting a lot of attention.

PWInsider is reporting that there were quite a few people who were upset that the altercation happened as the feeling was that it could potentially upstage AEW’s big accomplishment with All In.

It was also noted that this lit a fire under some in the locker room who didn’t want to blame either side, and some who blamed both, who made it a point to work harder to try and make the night about the company.

There are two different stories when it comes to the altercation with one side claiming it was CM Punk who confronted Jack Perry, and another claiming it was Jack Perry who stepped up to Punk. It’s being said that it’s been back and forth regarding who the blame was placed on depending on who is telling the story. It was also noted that some of the people who have been sharing the story weren’t actually there when the altercation took place.

Jack Perry was asked to leave Wembley Stadium right after the altercation, and Punk left about an hour or so after his match with Samoa Joe.
